Community Involvement

Community involvement is part of the Baird culture. Since Baird opened its doors in 1919, giving back to the communities in which our associates live and work has always been at the core of Baird’s culture. Baird associates are encouraged to maintain a balance between home, community, and work. Associates are encouraged to organize and participate in fund-raising events for many causes, including education, health and human services, and the arts.

In Portland Maine, our associates are very active in our communities. Since our branch opened, our associates have given their time to various organizations, volunteering an average of 500 hours per year.
